In an interview on the BBC website, Lennon talks about our striking options - or lack of them - for the trip to Parkhead. After listing who is out (that'll be all our forwards) he says this:
"I'm very active at the minute. I had a healthy meeting with a player yesterday and I'm very fruitful and hopeful there'll perhaps maybe be another one come the end of the day."
When asked if it's a striker, he responds: "He's certainly one that's very adapatible up there from middle to top and he would certainly fit that criteria."
Gow fits that bill almost perfectly as he can play as a striker or wide left, another position Lennon is keen to strengthen. The 27-year-old is a free agent after being released by Plymouth and he's also had spells with Falkirk, Airdrie United, Clydebank, Rangers, Blackpool and Norwich. On his day, he's a decent player, but his day doesn't come along often enough. He spent part of last season on loan at Hibs and has just had an unsuccessful trial with a Russian club.
Lennon has also told former Aberdeen midfielder Stuart Duff to decide whether or not he wants to accept the contract he's been offered. Duff was offered the deal last week and, with apparent interest from Greece, has yet to respond.
