Haddad was brought in at the end of August following the long-term injury to Darren McGregor. After a decent display against St Johnstone, Lennon said he wouldn't be hurrying to extend the deal with McGregor due back in action in February. However, despite Haddad barely having featured since then it now seems he's looking to tie him up for a bit longer.
Haddad previously played alongside fellow Saint Jeroen Tesselaar at AZ Alkmaar and Telstar and has represented Holland at various youth levels. He can play in defence and midfield and that versatility seems to be attractive to Lennon, with McGregor still a long way from returning and Jim Goodwin closing in on a suspension.
