The player is out of contract with last club Vetra, and while there is interest in his services from both Russia and Lithuania, he wants to try to win a deal with Saints.

Raliukonis is a centre half... and that's about all I know. Surprisingly for a Lithuanian heading for Scotland, he hasn't played for Kaunas and isn't about to be loaned to Hearts. Whether this is a good thing or not remains to be seen!

No doubt he'll do well on trial before he or MacPherson decides not to make it a permanent deal.
