The most well known sale was parts of the Reid Kerr College/PDE stand at the Love Street end to Morton. They're kindly going to put the seats and the roof in at Cappielow's away end, meaning when we're back for Renfrewshire Cup games (hopefully we won't be meeting in the league any time soon) we'll be able to enjoy Love Street.
Parts of the loos have been sold to Aberdeen for Pittodrie, while seats will soon be appearing at Meadowbank in Edinburgh and Meadow Park, home of the South of Scotland League's Threave Rovers. The Castle Douglas side play in black and white stripes and are hoping to have the seats - of which they bought around 500 - in place for the new season.
Junior outfit Turriff United have ended up with 150 seats and some turnstyles, while more seats have ended up south of the border. League Two's Accrington Stanley need to install the best part of 1,000 seats at the brilliantly named Fraser Eagle Stadium or they'll be kicked out the league, so they now have some from us - as do Accrington Cricket Club.
So Love Street is still very much alive. Spotter's badge to the first person to visit all these grounds and takes pictures of the old parts in their new home!
