Saints are likely to face competition for Grady from Gretna, his former club Partick Thistle and possibly St. Johnstone. It is believed that he would like to be a coach as well as a player. It is unlikely that Saints will be able to compete with the finances of Gretna but if he wants to pick a club closer to home he can't get much closer then Saints as he lives five minutes away!
The jury is a bit mixed on Grady coming to Love Street thanks to his assault on Saints player Norrie McWhirter whilst Grady was with Clydebank. If he does choose us then hopefully he'll give us a much more positive reason to remember him by.
It is expected that Grady will have signed for his new club by the end of the week.
