Obviously this isn't anywhere near as important a competition as the first division or the Bell's Cup, and we wouldn't have got all upset if we'd lost, but it's still nice to win it. It's also revenge over St. Johnstone for beating us in the final at Love Street two seasons ago.
The visitors took the lead just before half time last night when Saints Ian Maxwell was deemed to have fouled someone inside the box. Stephen Dobbie scored the spot kick.
Researve team coach Mark Reilly levelled the scores midway through the second half, and a few minutes from the end youngster Mark Docherty scored the winner.
