It should be pointed out that the pair have only agreed to sign the contracts and have not put pen to paper yet. Nonetheless, this is great news as the pair have done a fantastic job since being appointed two and a half years ago. We've won two trophies this year and last year we finished second. We can't really ask for much more.
Next year, however, will be the pair's biggest task yet as they bid to keep Saints in the SPL. Doing that would undoubtedly be their biggest achivement so far. if they fail, however, they'll still have a year to try and get us back up before the contracts expire.
Someone who might not be extending his time at Saints is Charlie Adam. The midfielder is on loan from Rangers, but could move to Aberdeen in the summer rather than sign for Saints permanently.
