Unless they mess things up and get sacked which, after the last few years, is possible but hopefully won't happen.
it was first announced that the duo were in talks over new contracts in December, around the time of the club's AGM. However, after various sources from the club and the media saying the contracts would soon be signed, the pair have finally put pen to paper on their new deals.
This is good news for Saints as the board had banned any more players being signed or extending their stay at Love Street until MacPherson and Millen confirmed that they were staying put. It is likely that the next few weeks will see some contracts being extended, with goalkeeper Craig Hinchcliffe surely at the head of the queue.
After taking over in November 2003, Gus managed to keep Saints up despite not producing that many wins. This season has seen a much better one for Saints, as we topped the table for a few weeks and had some enjoyable games. The form has dipped in recent weeks and we are on the fringes of the relegation battle, but the pair were never in danger of getting the boot.
With nearly all the squad out of contract in the summer, it offers a great chance for Gus to build his own team in what could be Saints last year at Love Street.
