The former Hibs midfielder has made just a handful of appearances since he signed in September. He looked reasonable when he came off the bench, for whatever reason Danny Lennon didn't seem to rate him.
Last month, he angered large sections of the Saints support by cheering a Celtic goal while sitting in the dressing room - a scene that was showing live on Sky during half-time in the Old Firm game. Not only did he refuse to apologise, parts of his explanation a few days later contained glaring errors.
McCluskey is only signed up to the end of the season so it's likely he won't be seen again in a Saints shirt as he heads to the worst club in the SFL. Good riddance.
