McGinn Called Up

McGinn has only made two appearances for the Saints first team, with Saturday being the first time he had started a match. He has spent the past few years in the reserve and under 19 squads.

Mirren Mad would like to congratulate Stephen on this call up, but wants to know why it has taken until one of our youngsters scoring at Parkhead to be called up. A few years ago our under 19 squad finished second in their league, made the Youth Cup Final (beating Rangers along the way) and also finished second in the reserve league - yet not one single member of the squad was called up.

Meanwhile, there is no place for any Saints player in the latest Scotland under 21 squad.
