McGregor can play in defence or midfield and came through the youth system at Central Park. He spent four years in the first team there, although this came either side of a spell with junior side Arniston Rangers. He's been a key player for the Blue Brazil in the last couple of years, although he missed much of last season through injury.
The 25-year-old will now go full time and has signed a two year contract. It's not quite sure where Lennon sees him - most people thought he was a replacement for Chris Innes but Lennon's comments suggest he'll be playing in midfield. It'll be interesting to see how he copes with the step up to the SPL.
Vanzy's signing was all but confirmed last week and has now been made official by the club. The rightback signed for Saints in 2003 after leaving Celtic and helped the club to the double in 2005/06. In 2008 he signed for Hibs, but was released a year later. Stints at Morton and Hamilton followed before he returned to Saints, signing a two year deal.
As I said last week, I'm not quite sure what to make of this one. Vanzy was good with us the first time around, but you have to wonder about a player who couldn't break into the Hamilton team last season.
Meanwhile, it's been confirmed that Tom Brighton has left, while Lennon is still hopeful of keeping Steven Robb and Garry Brady. There's no official word yet on Allan Johnston - because the club can't get hold of him!
