The young Scots are due to play America in a few weeks time with a match against Canaa scheduled for a few days later. Quite why these games are being played in Spain is anyone's guess!
McLean, who scored in last Saturday's win over Ross County, has been a regular in the Scotland under-21 squad for the past year or so. With the Euro 2013 qualifying campaign finishing last month he'll now be one of the squad's senior players as a number of other players are too old.
