McLean In, Ross Out?

There have been rumours about Ross going to Thistle for quite a while now. He was rumoured to be going to Firhill in the summer, but they couldn't afford the transfer fee. Ot seems now they are offering a player as a transfer fee.

McLean would be a very good signing. Saints need another striker, and he has scored loads of goals in the SFL. He managed 13 goals for Thistle last season in division 1, and 18 for them in division 2. This compares with Paddy FLannery who scored 19 goals in division 3 last season, who I said we should sign on Saturday.

Ross has been poor this season, but so has McLean, scoring just one goal in the SPL. However, it's easier being poor and dropping down a league, than being poor and moving up one. This would be a very good bit of business for Saints.

McLean signed for Partick Thistle from Inverness Caley just before they beat Celtic. Could he be signing for us just after we beat them ;-)
