The right back had been linked with a move to Celtic a few weeks ago, as well as with a move to Old Firm rivals Rangers and a move to West Ham United. The deal could be worth £400,000 to Livingston, and could also see David Fernandzes return there for the third time.
David only had one season in the first team at Love Street, season 1998/99, before being signed by Blackburn Rovers, along with Saints team mate Burton O'Brien. The pair never made the break through there, and returned to Scotland to play for Livingston in 2002/03. Since then the pair have been in superb form, helping Livingston win the league cup last year. David has managed to get some Scotland caps, whilst Bobo is set to play for South Africa.
If Celtic do sign David, then he'll miss their game next weekend after he was sent off yesterday!
