Mendes For Huddersfield

Mendes had two spells with Saints, the first ending sadly when he decided that he would only leave us for a club down south. He signed for Dunfermline! He was rubbish there so they got rid of him in the summer of 2001.

A year later he was back at Love Street and was in stunning form. he scored a great hat trick against Clyde before leaving in the transfer window for Mansfield.

He is out of contract with Mansfield so a move to Huddersfield could well be on the cards, and would allow him to play in division 2.
