Murray has been out of action since the start of May after being stretchered off against Hamilton Accies. ironically, he had broken Tony Fitzpatrick's club appearance record by starting the match, but lasted just minutes before damaging his ligaments while making a challenge.
A comeback for Shuggy had been looking on the cards a few weeks ago but he then had to go for an operation, which hadn't originally been expected. It is now hoped he will return to full training next week and it can't come soon enough, with Jim Goodwin close to serving a suspension.
The news for former Bolton man Mooy isn't so good. He suffered a back fracture during the summer but had been expected to return by now. However, the injury isn't healing as expected and he is likely to be out for a while longer, missing many Saints games and the Aussie under-23 side's efforts attempts to qualify for next year's London Olympics.
The only other injury problem at Greenhill Road at the moment is Darren McGregor, who will be missing for at least another three months as he recovers from a ligament problem.
