Mixu Situation Update

Yesterday it was announced that Mixu would be a Saints player next season after recent speculation linking him with moves to Partick Thistle and Linfield, among others. It had looked as if the previous requirement of him proving his fitness over the pre-season had been removed, however it has been revealed that this is not the case and he will still have to prove his fitness before being offered a new deal.

The verbal agreement, therefore, was to ensure that he'd be hang around long enough to prove his fitness rather than take an offer which is forthcoming. Glad that's that all cleared up.
