This would be one of the most bizarre transfer deals in recent years. Aberdeen do not need a leftback. They have Charlie Mulgrew, who is a fine leftback and can take excellent free-kicks. Putting Mo Camara in his place would be a strange bit of business.
Derek Young is a central midfielder. We do not need a central midfielder. It is the last position we need to strengthen, even behind right back where we are really well covered.
In fairness, the papers suggest that while we're willing to swap Camara, we'll only do it for another defender - but surely if Aberdeen had a defender going spare they wouldn't be trying to sign Mo?
A very odd state of affairs. It'll be interesting to see if this one comes to anything before Monday's transfer deadline.
