New captain announced

The former Clyde man has been the captain for a few of Saints' friendly games - most notably the Renfrewshire Cup final - and was also given the job in a few meaningless games last season. The fact he has been chosen for the honour suggests he'll be a regular starter during the coming season.

Hugh Murray originally started last season as captain, but seemed to have the title removed as things progressed. However, it is believed he is still club captain.
