The news is no surprise as Saints boss Gus MacPherson had previously said he wanted to keep everyone at the club. McGowne captained the club to two trophies last year, whilst Reid can play in a variety of positions and will be a useful squad player.
Many had expected Baird to be released after he played hardly any part in the season (though he did score against Dundee). McKenna enjoyed a loan spell at Cowdenbeath, which saw him score several goals and pick up a third division winners medal. whilst Molloy played for Saints after the league was won. McCay didn't play at all, but might make the bench next season along with Molloy and McKenna due to SPL under 21 rules.
There are still three players who haven't signed new deals. Simon Lappin, David van Zanten and Mark Corcoran are all out of contract and have been offered extensions, but so far haven't agreed to stay. There are already rumours Lappin is on his way.
Someone who is definitely leaving is physio Karen Stark, who has spent four eyars at Love Street.
