The game at New Douglas Park was due to go ahead on December 30, but was cancelled due to icy conditions in Hamilton. The SPL rearranged it for a few weeks later on the midweek reserved for Scottish Cup replays. This was always asking for trouble, and sure enough the game was postponed when Hamilton were held to a draw by Rangers.
Having not learned their lesson, the SPL arranged the game for the next midweek reserved for cup replays - and had to cancel it when Rangers managed to force a replay after drawing with us at St. Mirren Park. Now it seems a sensible solution has finally been found.
Shame the same can't be said for our home game against Motherwell, which was due to go ahead on March 20. As we've the small matter of the Co-operative Insurance Cup final that weekend, it has been arranged for March 15 and there's no sign of it moving. Cup final opponents Rangers, meanwhile, have had their game moved to the previous midweek. Paranoid? Me?
