The defender signed a one year contract in the summer which included a clause that would see it automatically extended for another year if he started 20 or more games for the club. That milestone was reached last week, meaning he will still be a Buddie in the 2013/14 season - his ninth year with the club.
Hopefully this is the first of many contract extensions we hear about in the coming months.
