New Sponsor To Be Announced

The situation used to be that all the companies attending the dinner paid £500 to be part of a draw to be the sponsor, then paid more if they won. The result one year saw Foxbar Video win, although Phoneix Honda bought them out. The contract with LDV finished at the end of last season, although they will sponsor the North Bank. The newly named "LDV Stand" has LDV logos on the roof, so presumaby it was cheaper for LDV to sponsor it rather than pay for it to be repainted.
No clues have been given as to the new sponsor's identity, which will be unveiled at the same time as the new strips, but it could be one of the Phoenix companies or it could be Arnold Clark, who have taken over at Clanfords.
Elsewhere, Stewart Gilmour has told the Renfrewshire Gazette that Saints new stadium could be ready as early as this time next year!
