Last night Saints were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Dundee United. Having found themselves 2-0 down just after the start of the second half, Saints fought back thanks to a penalty from Richard Brittain and a goal from John Sutton. Sadly, with a replay looking likely, United scored a late winner to send Saints out. It seems we were on the receiving end of some dodgy decisions, with goals disallowed, goalkeepers not sent off and the like.
That's all the news. There are no new signings - the Carl Finnegan deal looks dead - and I doubt there will be before the end of January.
