Media reports yesterday claimed that players were unhappy after only being offered a £1,000 bonus if they won on Tuesday, while they'd received £1,600 for beating Motherwell in the previous round. The club have denied there is any argument and a statement read:
"The board of directors met a couple of weeks ago with representatives of the players and the manager.
"At this point the bonuses for the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final and Scottish Cup fifth-round matches were discussed.
"To date the board have had no request for any further meetings with the players."
Note the statement doesn't dispute the allegation that the players were offered a smaller bonus for a semi-final than the one they received for winning the quarter final!
