The remaining five fixtures were released shortly after we were beaten by Falkirk on Saturday night and it was always likely we would have to go somewhere for a third time to ensure we had an even number of home and away games. However, no one quite expected us to have to travel to one of our relegation rivals again, which is what will happen on May 1.
Gilmour, who has been keeping his head down for months despite our horrendous form and various off the pitch problems at the club, issued a statement calling the move unfair and a disgrace. Motherwell also found themselves similarly hard done to and have decided to appeal, but we won't be joining them as it's apparently "a waste of energy".
