It was assumed that when Gus MacPherson left, Millen would swiftly follow him out the door but that hasn't happened and he could continue at the club. Stuart Balmer may also end up as Lennon's assistant while there is a chance his number two from Cowdenbeath, Iain Jenkins, could end up following him to Paisley.
At today's press conference to unveil Lennon, Saints chairman Stewart Gilmour said: "We are at the situation where we are interviewing all the current staff, as you know it is probably quite a big management staff and we'll announce the management team either on Friday on Monday."
Lennon himself added: "I don't have any problem with that. We'll just have to wait for the discussions throughout the week."
Despite these remarks, it looks likely that Millen will leave the club and Balmer may already have done so, clearing the way for Jenkins to be reunited with his old boss.
