Several clubs are supposed to be after Kean, including Hamilton, Queen of the South, Dunfermline, Partick Thistle, Dundee and - most bizarrely of all - Hereford United are all meant to be interested in signing him. The former Ayr United striker is out of contract in the summer and most Saints fans reckon it is unlikely he'll be offered a new one - or, more accurately, one he wants to sign. The fact a number of clubs are queuing up for a striker who has scored one goal all season but perhaps new surroundings are what he needs.
Miranda isn't really a Saints player as he is technically on loan from his Argentinian side CAI until the summer, but it seems his contract is up anyway. Why he hasn't been a regular is a mystery and it would be frustrating if, having been underused here, he was signed by Hibs - a bigger team than ourselves. If he can't get a game with us, why do Hibs think he is worth a deal? Easter Road has also emerged as a possible desination for van Zanten, with Aberdeen and Swansea City also supposed to be monitoring things.
Just to chuck a few more rumours into the mix (the rumour mill is returning soon!) there are suggestings that a few players could be leaving Saints for Dundee in the summer including, surprisingly, Hugh Murray. Watch this space!
