O'Brien Dons Move Off

Aberdeen had been interested in signing O'Brien from the SPL's bottom side now, rather than waiting until the summer. However, it seems that Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood has discovered that the future South African international doesn't want to move to Pittodrie. Leicester are supposedly going to offer him a pre contract agreement, whilst Hearts want to sign him and fellow ex Saint David McNamee before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Meanwhile, it looks as if Aberdeen could be successful in signing the brothers of Saints striker Mixu Paatelainen, Mikko and Markus. The pair have been training with various first division clubs over the past few weeks, and were recently training with Aberdeen. It now looks as if they have done enough in training to earn a contract.
