Local youngsters wearing panda masks as well as black and white clothes will join former captains on the parade from the old ground at Love Street to the new ground at Greenhill Road.
The parade will be led by a brass band and there will also be a special float carrying the centre circle from Love Street. The plan is for it to be placed somewhere near the new ground as a tribute to those who had their ashes scattered at the old pitch.
The parade is set to leave Love Street at 10am, with the game starting at 12.30pm. Real Radio roadshow will help provide some pre-match entertainment.
The plans have already received some criticism on the web but personally I don't have a problem with the panda aspect. Perhaps there could have been more attractions and a pipe band instead of a brass band, but overall it seems like a decent set-up.
