The former Scotland goalie swapped Fife for Paisley two years ago and has played pretty much every Saints game since. He is in experienced player and would be a major loss - not least because we'd find ourselves scrabbling around for another keeper when it looked as if he would be staying on.
It seems Dunfermline have offered Gallacher a two year deal, which is also on the table from Saints, and it will come down to finances. On that score, it's worth noting that the Pars have beaten off competition from us to land Queen of the South's Paul Burns today.
Jim McIntyre seems to be trying to build our former defence at East End Park as he is apparently chasing John Potter and Chris Innes as well. If he wants to sign Mo Camara too then that would be just fine
