Twaddle hardly kicked a ball for Saints, being injured most of the time. he played around 90 minutes in total, and came up with some great excuses for injury. A good example of this would be when he missed a game with toothache! Twaddle came to Saints last summer, despite the fact he had a terrible record of injuries, and this continued at Love Street.
The Penicuik Manager, Willie McGinlay, said: "I've known Kevin for a while and it's a massive coup for the club. I'm sure he'd have played at a higher level after his St Mirren deal finished but he seems impressed with the way we want to take the club forward."
Aye it's a good signing mate, if he's fit. Penicuik also have another former Saint, goalkeeper Billy Bald. Billy played one game for Saints, against Alloa, and conceded four goals. Despite this, he was Athletic's player of the year last year!
