Today's meeting is part of the process which is entering the final few weeks. Recommendations will be made on whether the local plan should be changed to allow a new stadium to be built in Ferguslie Park and Love Street sold to a supermarket firm. If that happens Saints can clear their debt. If it doesn't, the club needs to sell Love Street to a housing firm, which won't provide enough money for the new ground.
It's an important meeting and some Saints fans are attending, having been invited after writing letters to the director of planning. The club are obviously going and have appointed a QC to help them.
Hopefully today's meeting goes smoothly. A final decision is expected before the end of the month.
