Public meeting this week

Last updated : 19 April 2011 By Stuart Gillespie

Mr Atkinson and fellow director Chris Stewart are leading the 10000hours community interest company that is looking to buy the 52 per cent controlling interest that is up for sale. Thursday night will see Mr Atkinson give a presentation on the plans before answering questions. Also there will be club legend Tony Fitzpatrick - who is an advisor and has also signed up for community and corporate membership. Completing the trio is Jim Mullan of KibbleWorks, who have signed up for community membership and will also be installing a members' bar at the ground.

Thursday's meeting will be in the hospitality suite and starts at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.

The next public meeting will be the following Thursday which will provide details of 10000hours and will also see Stewart Gilmour talk about the proposed SPL reconstruction.

Perhaps he'll finally say why he seems to be in favour of a 10 team league when everyone else is against it.
