After CHristmas he was moved to rightback in a 4-4-2 formation. Robb looked like former Saints "star" Sergei Baltacha, and unfortunately played like him at right back. The weird thing is his preferred position is right back, and thats where he played for Rangers! He was truley awful and was dropped after a few games, before returning at the end of the season and was still rubbish. Had he not been on a two year contract he would probably have been released.
At the start of this season he was loaned out to Gretna but picked up an injury after a few games. It is no secret, depending what websites you visit, that Ricky had confidence problems and, allegedly, would burst in to tears at half time!
Mirren Mad would like to wish Ricky all the best. If anyone is interested, Ricky can occasionally be seen running through camera in BBC 1's series "Blue Heaven", about the Rangers youth set up of a few years ago.
