Robb Signs For Maybole

Ricky was on trial at Love Street in the summer of 2002, having previously been with Rangers. The big defender did well enough to do a deal, and due to injuries ended up playing a lot of games. He was on a fine scoring run at one point, managing three in four games, but things went wrong. There were always rumours that he emotionally broke down at half time, and when he was moved to right back, his preferred position, he looked terrible. Bambi on ice springs to mind. He hardly played again, and was loaned out to Gretna for the first half of 2003/04. Had he not been under contract for another year he'd probably have been released instead.
Things went wrong at Gretna from the off, as he got injured after a few games, and Saints eventually released him. He's been clubless since, but has recently signed for Ayrshire junior side Maybole.
Considering the reputation of the juniors, Ricky could be in for some fun!
