Robertson To Face Saints

Robertson spent November with Aberdeen as back up, but didn't get a game. With Queens main keeper Colin Scott injured until February at least, they only have former Ayr goalie John Dodds fit enough to play. Thanks to the new transfer rules, they could sign Robertson in time for him to be in the squad tonight, and possibly even play against us.

Robertson left Love Street in the summer after being offered less than he was on before. After trials at the likes of Celtic and Crewe he was snapped up for a month by Aberdeen before being released. He has also played for Dumbarton as a trialist but never signed. Celtic offered him a contract for a few months but he didn't take it. He has been linked with several clubs better than Saints which is strange as he didn't impress me with us before. No doubt he'll play a blinder against us tonight!

In other ex Saints news, Jim Dick has signed for Rob Roy juniors, whilst former boss Tom Hendrie got off to a winning start at Alloa, their 2-0 win over East Fife coming with help from former players Scott Walker, Jamie McGowan and Iain Nicolson, who scored.
