Incase you don't read any furhter, here's the URL http://www.smisa.net/ if you want to go and bid for a place in the team.
Last years event raised over £6000 for Saints, and this years event hopes to raise even more money for the club's youth development policy.
As opposed to last years idea, which saw two teams of St. Mirren fans play short matches against the 1987 cup winning side, this year sees two supporters sides play a full 90 minutes on the turf, and each team will be managed by a St. Mirren celebrity. Whether this is a famous Saint from the past or a famous Saint ssupporter I am not quite sure.
The event takes place on April 27th, and bidding closes at midnight on April 22nd. A bid of £225 guarantees that shirt. See this as a chance to kick those folk who have been making silly comments on the net all year, although unfortunastely for most I won't be there :-)
You can also attend and watch 22 Saints fans (plus rolling subs, everyone gets a game) make an eejit of themselves.
