This is probably the highest profile friendly match since Saints played Rangers just before the title season, and beat them 2-1 when Steven McGarry scored a double. Hopefully a repeat performance will start us off on a run to the title. It should be a chance for new signings, Richard Robb and Billy Bauld (we have to sign people from now on who have the same initial for each name) to get a runout after performing well in their trial period.
Tickets (tickets for a friendly? Amazing!) go on sale tomorrow from the ticket office (funnily enough) at Love Street. £10 for adults and £5 for children, with a 7.45pm kick off. A first team Celtic side is expected, although will probably get lost and we'll be left with Tom Boyd as their best player.
