The team in question are a SunSport Transfer Window team. Most Saturdays, The Scottish Sun lists players who have contacted them telling them they don't have a club, in a bid to get them fixed up with somewhere else. They did this last season and it was apparently very successful. This season, as well as listing them, they are having training sessions and are having some games. Their first is against Saints at Love Street next Saturday.
Looking at the list in today's paper there's a chance that a few former Saints could be in the opposition. Jamie Dunbar, Stuart Gemmell, Tony Mitchell, Derek Scrimgour, Mark Turner are all former Saints who may end up playing, although Turner, Mitchell and Gemmel never played in the first team during their spell at Love Street.
The game is also a good chance for Saints to see if there is anyone worth signing in the opposition side, and may also see a few trialists in the Saints side itself.
