Saints In For Lehmann

The news comes from the
Evening Times. Lehmann has played in the SPL for both Hibs and Motherwell and, as well as being a striker, he can also play in defence if he is required. He has a reasonable track record in the SPL and has attracted interest from other clubs, including Paul McKnight's former side Linfield. Whilst I'm not convinced he'd be a great signing, he'd provide a targetman for us and would probably score loads of goals in division 1, which is fine by me.
If we do sign him, let's hope he is slightly better than the last German striker we had :-)
