Quinn, who played as a winger for Ireland, has been on trial at Love Street this week so we can probably expect some news on him today. Whether we need another winger or not I don't know.
Heenan has previously been linked with Liverpool and Celtic, so why Arbroath released him seems a mystery. Until you read the BBC website that is, where it says his contract was cancelled after he slept in and missed Arbroath's game with Morton last weekend. Oops! The BBC site also lists him as a forward, something we desperately need with Barry Lavety and Eddie Annand out injured. Let's hope he is a goal scoring forward. Brechin City, Forfar Athletic and Raith Rovers are also interested in him.
Russell is an out and out striker, which is good news with his injuries. I've never heard of him before so don't know much about him. He could still be at Hamilton for all I know, and they haven't released him!
Here's hoping we have some signing news to report on later.
