Lennon tried for some time to bring in Gow, who was let go by Plymouth Argyle in the summer. However, on Tuesday he signed former Grimsby winger Nick Hegarty and admitted his chase of Gow was now over and suggested he was only using Saints as a "last resort".
Supposedly, Gow had agreed to join Swindon but at the last minute asked for more money, so they told him where to go. It'll be interesting to see what he does at Motherwell.
Another transfer target, Scott Severin, has joined Dundee United. Lennon tried to bring the midfielder to the club on loan from Watford, but he decided to stay put for family reasons. So a few months later he goes to Tannadice. Hmmm.
