The new ground - which has still to be given its official name by the club - is just across the road from Paisley St. James station. It would therefore be a fine piece of PR by First ScotRail to rename the station Paisley St. Mirren - especially as they'll probably be in to make a tidy profit from football fans travelling to the new ground.
The first stage in the campaign is a photo shoot at Paisley St. James station at 1pm on Wednesday, July 2, with the Paisley Daily Express in attendance. If you live close by or have some time to spare during your lunch hour, get down there with a Saints flag or scarf to show your support for the scheme.
