Saints Rankin Bid Rejected

Rankin is highly rated at Dingwall and there has been reported interest from SPL clubs. However, Saints appear to be the first side to make a move for the talented player with an offer of £25,000 now and another £15,000 at some point in the future.

To be honest, this offer seems a bit of an insult as Rankin is a good player who is probably worth at least double that. Where the money is coming from is a mystery, although we may still get our man. Remember how long the Stewart Kean saga lasted for last season!

St. Johnstone are also rumoured to be interested in signing Rankin.
