Saints Sign Roberts!

The news comes from The Official Site. However, if you read Falkirk's official site it appears Roberts had signed for them a few days ago, along with former Saint Stuart Taylor! This caps a pretty bad few days for Falkirk, as their manager Ian McCall was appointed Dundee United's new manager yesterday, despite claiming he wouldn't leave Falkirk and Falkirk not accepting the resignation.

Roberts has previously played for Falkirk (before this little drama), Kilmarnock and Airdrie and was playing for Shelbourne in Ireland this season. He is a decent striker with a decent amount of pace, which is good news.

It makes a change Saints stealing someone from under the noses of a club, as we've been on the receiving end of this treatment ourselves recently. With still 12 hours until the deadline, there may yet be more signings.
