The Saints manager said after Monday's match that he had missed the incident, but would appeal if TV evidence proved Sutton had done nothing wrong. After viewing the evidence, he has decided that there is no way Sutton used his elbow and that the red card was not merited.
This is good news as it means Sutton will be able to play in Saturday's game against Brechin City, due to the appeal board not meeting until January. of course, the chances of the decision being overturned are slim as the SFA don't like doing this, claiming it undermines the referees or some such guff.
