Saints To Sign Skinner?

The news comes from the Daily Record. Skinner is a winger who can play up front, probably in the same way current Saints player Robert Dunn can. Unless he is a left sided player to put pressure on Simon Lappin, there is no point signing him as we already have Dunn, Kevin Twaddle, David van Zanten, Hugh Murray, Ricky Gillies and probably more who can play right wing or right midfield. If he was going to be used as an out and out striker then fair enough, but Barry Lavety and Eddie Annand will be fit soon.

Whether Skinner has actually left Gretna I'm not sure, as he's still listed on their official website.
