Motherwell have made several changes since last season. Sseveral players were "sacked" in John Boyle's bid to cut costs, such as Greg Strong and Andy Dow, the latter having signed for Saints. Motherwell's squad is a mix of youngsters and experienced players now, with young guns such as James McFadden and Keith Lasley being accompanyed by Scott Leith and Dirk Lehman. They also have a relativley new manager. Out is Eric Black, in comes former Rangers man and the first Asian to play in Scotland, Terry Butcher.
Tonight is the first chance for most Saints fans to see new striker Martin Cameron in action. Personally I can't wait for that and hope he starts up front alongside Junior Mendes and Brian McGinty. No doubt this friendly will have the usual sub fest and usual trialists.
