Saints have won in Dingwall just once in the league, with two wins in various cups coming thanks to extra time and penalties. Aside from that, our best result is a 1-1 draw which took place earlier this season. So what on earth possessed the people at the pools panel to give us a win?
Incase you are from Mars and don't know what the pools panel is, allow me to explain. Each Saturday the football results are read out at 5 o'clock. People play the football pools, where they have to predict whether a game produced a no score draw, a 1-1 draw, a score draw or a win (dunno if there are bonuses for home win or away win). Should a game be postponed for any reason, a panel of "experts" decide what the result would have been. Somehow, thgese "experts" managed to come up with an away win for Saturday's match.
i can only assume this was based on the league positions of both clubs, but considering most folk know how bad we are up north it seems they need some new experts. if anyone at the pools panel is reading, I'm availible.
